A few months ago, I covered the wedding of Bryan and Bre Bobo from Indiantown, FL. It was a gorgeous day and we were graced with an amazing ceremony and reception site thanks to the amazing people at King’s Ranch. The ceremony took place under some beautiful tree cover, and the reception was held in and around a recently restored farm house. Photos are below so feel free to explore!

Prestigious Clothing Shoot
Posted in: Featured, Portraits, Promotional, Uncategorized
Today was the official launch of Prestigious Clothing‘s new line for 2010. I had the pleasure of photographing the line for William this time around, and we had an amazing fun filled and very productive day of shooting. Prestigious had the guys over at We Are Synapse make them a new myspace with the main header image that I took for them, and it came out looking amazing! You can check out the myspace at http://www.myspace.com/thisisprestigious

New Easton Promos
Posted in: Featured, Portraits, Promotional
My good friends in the band “Easton” decided to re-form after their reunion show a few weeks ago. They have been in the studio for a good week straight recording new demos to send out and put on their myspace. I was lucky enough to be a part of the recording process, and they guys asked me to sing on a few of the tracks. When they come out you will be able to hear me on “She Walks In” and “Drop Out”

Truth About Vegas Photo Shoot
Posted in: Featured, Promotional
Around a month ago, I judged the Atticus Battle of the bands along with my buddies Mike Gentile (from Hey Monday) and Ryan Miller (from Carraway Clothing). The prizes were a full sponsorship to Atticus Clothing and Royal Family Clothing, along with guitars from Epiphone, strings and accessories from D’adario, drum sticks from Vic Firth, and a photo shoot with yours truly, www.photosbychrismartin.com.

Hey Monday Hometown Show
Posted in: Events, Featured, Portraits, Promotional
On Sunday, December 27th, I took a trip down to the Culture Room to see my friends in Hey Monday at their hometown show with Versa Emerge, Go Radio, and Take the Town. I did a quick photo shoot (one of the shots is above) with them for Royal Family Clothing, and soon after, all of the bands started hitting the stage to rock the faces off of around 600 tweens.
I took a ton of photos, and instead of me sitting here and blabbering about it, I figure I will just show you all of them exclusively here on the Photos by Chris Martin blog!

Photo Shoot with Easton
Posted in: Featured, Portraits, Promotional
Last week, I did a photo shoot with the band Easton who will be playing a reunion show on the 28th down in West Palm Beach, FL with my band Words Now Heard, Upper Class Trash, Fight in You, and Truth About Vegas. The guys in this band are some of my closest friends and I had a great time shooting with them! During the shoot, my good friend and always amazing assistant, Mitchell Goldstein took some behind the scenes shots, and I wanted to give everyone a little peak of the shoot. We found a great empty field out in Wellington, and it was a beautiful day so we definitely took advantage of it and got some great shots!

Parker Victoria
Posted in: Featured, Portraits
Yesterday I did a shoot for my friends daughter, Parker. At 21 months she is a wild child, and she was running around all over the place! It is always so tough to shoot little kids because of how much they move, but the results always make the hard work worth while!
Some quick tips if you ever find yourself photographing one of these little balls of energy…
- Have the parents bring a toy that the child loves to play with
- Be energetic and fun, and spare no expense to make the child laugh (even if it means hurting yourself!)
- Always have a positive attitude and remember that sometimes mistakes make the best images!
- Watch your language! Kids are super impressionable and will repeat almost everything you say if they are talking!
- Have Fun!

Child Photography
Posted in: Featured, Portraits
Last weekend I was hired to take some photos for Kelly Chesney of her son, Trey. I have been doing a lot of random child photography lately because of all of my friends that have recently had babies, but it is usually spur of the moment snapping away and not something that is a set up shoot. The main thing I have learned about taking pictures of babies, is that you have to move super fast! They never sit is one place and it is very hard to give a 17 month old direction! When you get the good shots though, boy they are amazing!
Trey was a wonderful sport, and I had an awesome time working with the Chesneys! We also got some amazing images in the process. I used some external lighting on these and some of the shots I did with natural light but I will be posting a blog soon with some in depth lighting info for all of you who are interested!

A Day To Remember
Posted in: Featured, Promotional
Last Friday, I was on set from 9am to around 9pm for the filming of the new A Day To Remember video "I’m Made of Wax, Larry, What are you Made of?"
I took a ton of photos and I also played a starring role in the video, so I am really excited for it to come out in early 2010! As you can guess from this image the video has something to do with dodge-ball, or kickball (which? I will never tell). Well, I will probably tell but not just yet. Keep your eyes peeled on this very blog to see more exclusive images from the shoot in the next few weeks!
